Third cycle education are for those who have a keen interest in issues in natural and earth sciences. The program gives you a deeper knowledge of your subject area, as well as tools to independently formulate problems and critically assess the results.
Research is usually done in teams and can take you to exotic locations such as Antarctica, the Amazon, the Pacific or our own northern Latnjajaure field station. No matter what you are interested in, your educational experience an exciting time, which in most cases ends with a Ph.D. (240 credits).
A third cycle education (doctoral programmes) involves four years of study and usually includes a certain amount of tuition.
