The Third Pole Enviorment project "High resolution climate modelling with a focus on mesoscale convective systems and associated precipitation over the Third Pole region" was endorsed as a new Flagship Pilot Studies of WCRP-CORDEX. The project is led by Prof. Deliang Chen.

The Coordinated Regional Climate Downscaling Experiment (CORDEX) is a Programme under World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) with the vision to advance and coordinate the science and application of regional climate downscaling through global partnerships.

The news has been published on the homepage of the Third Pole Environment (TPE).
