A Third Pole Environment project led by Deliang Chen was endorsed as a new Flagship Pilot Studies during The International Conference on Regional Climate 2019

The Third Pole Enviorment project "High resolution climate modelling with a focus on mesoscale convective systems and associated precipitation over the Third Pole region" was endorsed as a new Flagship Pilot Studies of WCRP-CORDEX. The project is led by Prof. Deliang Chen.
