FAQ Fall term 2020

Here we have collected common questions that pop up before the start of term.

What is the process for late application?

Our programs and many courses are open for late application July 15. Do apply, as early as possible, as this is a first come (and eligible), first serve process for late applications. In order to apply during the late application process, you need to have all of your qualifications in order.

When will I hear about my admissions decisions?

Admission notice 1 comes out 9 July and must be answered no later than 24 July.

Admission notice 2 comes out 30 July.

When do I hear from the Department of Earth Sciences?

We have sent out the information letter on the 10th of July to all who have been admitted.

When do I receive information from CSN?

All questions about CSN and financing should be answered by CSN.

How will Corona affect my education?

The Department of Earth Sciences belongs to the Faculty of Natural Science.

I need to register for a re-exam? How do I do this?

Mail studentadmin@gvc.gu.se with your name, personal number and name and date of the reexam you would like to retake to complete your course(s).

If you have been admitted, you can find more information at the Student Portal!

There you can read about how you can activate your account, register yourself for a course, get a GU card, find course literature, pedagogical support and much more. On the student portal, we, the administration, announce important information about our programs from start to finish.
