The Hydrogeology Group

The subject hydrogeology was established in October 2012 at the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of Gothenburg, by Professor Roland Barthel. Initially, the research group consisted solely of Roland himself, however now a postdoctoral fellow (Markus Giese), two PhD students (Ezra Haaf and Michelle Nygren) and several master of science students are contributing to groundwater research at the university.

Are you interested in hydrogeology worldwide?

Then have a look at the Swedish National Chapter of the IAH (International Association of Hydrogeologists) or the international webpage of the IAH.
