Research Interests
Regional climate in Sweden and in China, synoptic climatology, impact of climate change, Earth System Science, climate dynamics and climate modeling, statistical downscaling, Atmospheric circulation and water balance in the Third Pole Region.

Recent Research Projects
Leading project "Elevation dependent climate change in The Third Pole Region: impact on water balance", supported by Swedish Research Council (VR: 2015-2018).

Leading project "Impact of climate change on water balance on The Third Pole Region", supported by The Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) (2016-2018).
